Job Title: Senior Staff Specialist/Staff Specialist - Orthopaedic Surgery Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Permanent Key Highlights Specialist Shoulder and Elbow Role: Provide a dedicated elective and trauma service, with opportunities to contribute to general orthopaedic trauma management. Leadership and Training: Work within a team of subspecialists, mentoring junior doctors and supporting the development of the orthopaedic service. This role offers a dynamic and supportive working environment, providing both elective and trauma orthopaedic services across multiple sites. The position also includes opportunities for medical student teaching and telehealth consultations across regional locations. Position Details As a Senior Staff Specialist/Staff Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery, you will: Provide specialist elective and trauma shoulder and elbow services, alongside general orthopaedic trauma care. Perform elective and trauma surgeries, including both general and specialist procedures. Conduct outpatient clinics, fracture clinics, and telehealth consultations as required. Supervise and mentor junior doctors, including AOA trainees, in clinical and surgical settings. Contribute to the on-call roster, ensuring 24/7 orthopaedic service coverage. Benefits Staff Specialist (L18 - L24): $210,332 - $244,313 per annum. Senior Staff Specialist (L25 - L27): $251,527 - $266,677 per annum.
