About the Team When you join the Infrastructure Projects team, you'll join a group of professionals delivering Australia's future rail network. To help grow rail transport in Australia, the team is focused on ensuring the delivery of critical construction projects across the country, including implementation of our $1 billion Network Investment Program that we've developed with the Australian Government. Whether it's designing, building, or maintaining crucial rail infrastructure, the team plays a pivotal role in our ongoing efforts to improve network resilience and keep the future of freight on track. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Services, this role will be instrumental in developing and implementing best-practice engagement strategies, fostering trust-based relationships, and ensuring transparent and effective communication with communities and key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify and assess key stakeholders, ensuring effective consultation and collaboration. Develop and refine engagement plans to support meaningful community consultation. Represent ARTC in community forums and develop communication materials for various audiences. Assist in liaising with landowners and stakeholders regarding impacts, land access, and acquisition where required. Identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic solutions to enhance engagement. What do we want from you? You should be a highly experienced Stakeholder and Community Engagement Specialist with a strong track record in building relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse communities and stakeholders. With skills in leveraging digital media and technologies, you help to ensure effective communication and outreach for Stakeholder & Community Engagement. You will need to possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in developing and delivering engagement strategies, plans, and communication materials that resonate with target audiences. Additionally, experience navigating complex stakeholder environments, driving meaningful interactions, and ensuring transparency in project communications is required for successful outcomes. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate: Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in politically sensitive environments. Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a capacity to respond to and manage changing priorities.
