The Parenting Research Centre (PRC) is seeking a visionary Senior Strategic Initiatives Specialist to join our dynamic Strategic Initiatives Group. Why Join Us? The Role In this part-time role (0.5–0.8 FTE) on a 12-month contract, with the potential for a permanent transition, you will report to our accomplished former CEO, now Principal Consultant. Key responsibilities include: Lead the design and execution of strategic initiatives, transforming concepts into sustainable, high-impact solutions. Develop strategic partnerships, secure funding, and cultivate relationships that drive business growth. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to guide organisational decision-making. Collaborate across teams to implement projects aligned with PRC’s strategic goals. Contribute to our broader cultural and social initiatives, including our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). What You Bring We are looking for a highly motivated individual with: A passion for improving lives through evidence-based solutions. Proven success in business development, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a knack for crafting impactful proposals. Strong digital literacy and experience with data tools/systems. A collaborative, innovative mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning. Desirable: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field and experience in the community services, health, or education sectors. Knowledge and ability to apply best-suited project management approaches across the waterfall, agile and lean disciplines. Demonstrated experience in data analytics, systems, and reporting.
