Job Description About the role In this role as Senior System Accountant, you will support the Corporate Finance Systems team, such as Infor ERPLn (Billing & GL system), eFinance (workflow system), and practices and policies to ensure that financial systems efficiently deliver time system support globally while maintaining compliance with Accounting Standards and other mandatory requirements.This role will contribute to finance system developments, implementations, and continuous improvements, through identifying business requirements and delivering solutions in the finance systems.Key responsibilities will include: Operational Management Ensure Core finance system availability (Infor ERPLn) and workflow systems, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions. Drive initiatives for the continuous improvement of the finance systems teams. Provide support to financial accounting and management reporting teams regarding Month-End closure, Year-end Closure, Ledger Reconciliation, Integration, Tax, and Financial statements requirements of finance systems. Support finance systems-related projects related to enhancements, modifications, rollouts, and integrations to other eco-systems. Actively analyse and minimize downtime per the SLAs in the 'Finance Systems Support Plan' and ensure proper BCP/restore arrangements are established. Maintain and evaluate all critical patches before application and support systems and user testing (UAT). Coordinate and deliver quarterly Control Self Assessments. Conduct feasibility studies, high-level system design, requirements gathering, business approvals, and project planning. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and delivery of financial system artifacts including user documents, system manuals, quick reference guides, training presentations, system testing, and performance reporting. Deliver resolutions related to finance system queries, month-end, year-end closure supports. Coordinate for monthly patching, monthly releases, testing, and user onboarding. Coordinate and provide audit evidence as required. People Leadership Collaborate with the finance system team to achieve shared deliverables within agreed timelines ensuring system support to global teams. Train and support new users on new features and enhancements, and develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as technology and operations teams to understand requirements for enhancements, critically analyse the best way to process requests, and promptly resolve related issues. Governance & Risk Maintain, monitor, and report on the finance system's Governance & Risk controls related to Access provisioning, change management, user access reviews, and various audit (internal & external) requirements. Support to review business processes and controls across various functions, interfaces, and workflows to define and execute solutions for efficiency management through industry best practices. What you'll bring Qualification in Financial or Commerce - CPA/CA/M.Com or a related field. Proven experience with corporate finance system experience (e.g. Accounting, IT information systems) with a minimum of 5+ years in financial ERP systems - Infor ERPLn (or similar ERPs). Ability with IBM Planning and Analytical tool - TM1 / Cognos experience is desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain ERP implementations or roll-out. Strong information technology skills, including application support, system design, report generation, and demonstrated experience in building and implementing new financial information management systems and system upgrades. Advanced Excel skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros and pivot tables. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data using SQL and generate insightful reports. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Microsoft Dynamic 365 experience is also preferred.
