Sydney Location Permanent Role $184K Package About the Role Talent Web is currently looking for a senior trade-qualified Facilities Manager with experience directly managing Facilities Managers . This role is with the NSW State Government, responsible for leading a team overseeing HVAC, electrical, fire, and hydraulic systems across a campus style portfolio. You will manage maintenance programs, capital works and a small team of Facilities Managers .Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Facilities Managers , ensuring effective service delivery across all technical building services. Oversee maintenance, capital works, and infrastructure projects , ensuring compliance and minimal disruption. Manage budgeting, financial planning, and risk mitigation for technical services. Ensure compliance with WHS and safety regulations across all building systems. Implement strategic service improvements to enhance facilities management. Support team development through mentoring and leadership. Engage with stakeholders to ensure facilities operations meet university requirements. Requirements Must have a trade qualification in either electrical, HVAC, or mechanical . Experience directly managing Facilities Managers within a large, complex environment. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and hydraulic systems . Experience in contract and procurement management . Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
