It starts with YES! We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications to join our dynamic Reliability Engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, driving initiatives to enhance network reliability and availability across multiple domains. You will work closely with Network Engineering teams, GDC Ops, Cybersecurity, Vendors and other stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. The day to day Act as the go-to expert on change, problem, and lifecycle management, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and cross-functional teams. Lead and manage the Change Advisory Board process, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with CSRC guidelines while overseeing key performance metrics and deliverables. Lead IPNE PIR and rep IPNE across all problem management related engagements. Develop and execute a 12-18 month improvement roadmap focused on reducing downtime, enhancing network reliability, and optimising system performance. Coordinate with various teams (IPNE, GDC Ops, Cybersecurity, etc.) to ensure that all network elements meet end-of-life and end-of-support requirements and align with industry best practices. Drive proactive initiatives, including the implementation of new features, process enhancements, and the development of a Knowledge Management Database (KMDB) to bolster self-service capabilities and operational efficiency. What makes you a great fit Experience in the telecommunications industry, with extensive hands-on experience in mobile network technologies, VoIP, IP networking, Cyber Security and related systems. A degree in Telecommunications Engineering (or a related discipline) or equivalent technical qualifications. Proven track record in managing problem resolution, change management processes, and lifecycle governance in a large-scale network environment. Strong ability to monitor network performance, analyse KPIs, and implement effective optimisation strategies to reduce outages and improve reliability. Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership, along with experience mentoring and guiding technical teams. Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Ansible, Perl or Python) and a solid understanding of testing methodologies to identify and overcome platform limitations. A self-motivated, independent worker who can take initiative, operate under limited supervision, and manage critical tasks.
