Your new opportunity A fantastic new opportunity has become available for an experienced, enthusiastic, and driven Senior Technology Risk Analyst to join our Technology Risk and Cyber team in a full-time permanent role . As the Senior Technology Risk Analyst , you will be responsible for conducting technology risk analysis and assurance services to ensure RAA’s information assets and technology services are managed at an appropriate level of risk. You will play a key role in identifying, investigating, remediating, and reporting cyber threats, risks, and incidents, supporting cyber incident response, and leading forensic investigations and remediation activities. You will be instrumental in: Conducting technology risk assessments, security impact assessments, and third-party risk evaluations. Providing control assurance through testing, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests. Supporting business units with specialist guidance on technology risk and assurance frameworks. Developing action plans to remediate risks and improve security posture. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Developing and enhancing cyber security patterns, process uplift and help to embed the improvements in business. However, to be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years’ experience in a senior technology risk management or assurance role (e.g., Senior ICT Auditor, Senior Technology Risk Analyst). Strong understanding of technology risk, control strategy concepts, and security assurance frameworks . Experience in managing ICT risk and compliance activities, control effectiveness testing, and risk assessments . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant ICT discipline. Certification in a recognised technology risk or assurance discipline , such as: CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) GRC Professional (GRCP) CREST (Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers) Active participation in industry bodies such as AISA (Australian Information Security Association) or ISACA.
