What you’ll do Your main purpose is to manage large scale solar projects Tender and Contract process from early development till Notice to Proceed. Core Responsibilities Provide support during the pre-tender process including preparation and issuance of request for quotation/invitation to tender, on-boarding new contractors, and working closely with development and procurement team. Enquire and coordinate with Project Team representatives (development, technical, legal, HSE, etc.) for specification/technical and clarifications required for tenders and proposals. Negotiate commercial terms with preferred bidders based on the requirements of the project. Recommend the awarding of the contract through allocation of risks & cost review. Oversee projects effectively – leading meetings and communications and directing stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency. This necessitates a high level of action-orientated, clear communication at all times, including weekly and monthly meetings/reporting to peers and project team. Represent Lightsource bp at company events, conveying our business and development acumen in a professional manner while enforcing company strategies. Who we’re looking for Knowledge/Experience 10 years of prior experience of the renewable energy & construction industry, ideally from either an EPC or similar company to Lightsource BP. Knowledge and understanding of the constraints affecting the industry in APAC. Project Management experience in Renewable Energy projects connected to both MV and HV networks. Strong track record of negotiation, closing contract and managing claims. Experience in Commercial Contract negotiations. Successful track record in project delivery and managing various stakeholders. Qualifications Strong relationship with EPC’s and ICP Contractors. Strong relationship with NSP’s on different levels, design and construction. Knowledge of fundamental project management systems and procedures in the construction industry. Full driving license.
