We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join the Functional Testing team in Payments Settlements department. The Department is responsible for the ongoing development and smooth operation of Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the day-to-day management of Exchange Settlement Accounts, and back-office settlement of transactions arising from the Bank's open market operations and reserves management trades. The Department also provides a low-value clearing service to payments system participants for the exchange of cheque and direct entry payment files. About the Role Responsible for ensuring planned and applied testing on mission critical Payment Settlements Systems Outcome of the highest quality and functional reliability keeping up with the Department's overall risk appetite. Support your manager in a variety of strategic, managerial and day to day tasks that include heavy coordination and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, project delivery team and other project/BAU teams. Support coordination and planning of testing activities aimed at minimising risk while achieving high levels of quality, in the most pragmatic manner. Collaborate with project stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to understand functional requirements and acceptance criteria Comprehensive and effective analysis of functional requirements and design of risk-based, fit-for-purpose test cases. Ensure consistent application of testing standards, practices, processes and tools by the vendor, project and portfolio teams. Plan and execute functional testing related deliverables across various test levels. Manual execution of functional, end-to-end and regression test scenarios in accordance to test timelines Timely reporting of defects, participation in defect triage meetings and validation of fixes Contribute to regular test updates Maintain quality and relevance of test artefacts, analysis outcome and other documentation Produce handover document for operations team About you Solid understanding and expertise in functional testing Payments and Settlements systems. Proven ability to lead, direct and guide the work of Functional Testing team members including prioritising of work to achieve target outcomes. Advanced knowledge and experience in system and software development methodologies and testing lifecycle, techniques and tools. Proficiency in analysis of complex and integrated business domains and in developing and operationalising Test Strategies and Plans for moderate to large sized projects and programs. Advanced experience in developing and maintaining other testing related documentation (e.g. test cases, summary reports, handover documents, etc). Ability to facilitate and provide guidelines to the team on the analysis, development and review of test documentation and drive improvements in the testing space. Advanced understanding of tools that can be used for testing. Knowledge and experience in upholding team to testing standards and practices. Experience in effective stakeholder management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Degree in IT, business, finance or other relevant discipline.
