You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.In this role, you'll: Join the Connected Journeys Test Automation team, collaborating closely with Development and Test teams. Be involved in the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks. Develop scalable, dynamic software for testing purposes. Create hardware simulators and data providers to streamline test activities and minimize manual interactions. Work closely with test teams to propose automated solutions for existing manual processes. Embed within software development teams to support in-sprint and end-to-end automation efforts. Generate test reports that meet standards for external auditors and align with TfNSW requirements or relevant configuration management systems. Monitor and report on any non-conformities identified during system testing. Support the ongoing development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Testing and Commissioning Management Plan. Provide expert technical support to managers and project stakeholders, influencing the integration of testability in design and development phases. Respond promptly to technical information requests, submissions, proposals, and reviews, ensuring all system testing documentation meets standards required by external auditors. About you Experience in test automation tools and libraries (Cypress, Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Playwright). Strong communication skills and capable of representing the Test Automation Team within SCRUM teams. Proven and recent experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. Solid experience in Java. Experience in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (Node JS, React, TypeScript). Experience in Front End Development. Experience or extensive knowledge of object-oriented software design, test-driven development, BDD (Behavioural Driven Development), and service-oriented architecture. Experience in Relational as well as NoSQL databases. Experience working with both waterfall and agile project development environments.
