18 + 18 month contract - January 25 Start Obtain your Baseline Security Clearance Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Tasmania, Perth - WFH / Remote Cloud hosted platforms, Mobile applications & CRM portals Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australians living with disability, is seeking the experience of a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Cloud, Mobile Apps & CRM portals) for a long 12 month contract based in ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC or WA. Duties of the Senior Test Automation Engineer (Cloud, Mobile Apps & CRM portals) Take the lead in establishing effective test automation technologies, practices and executions across a suite of new leading-edge strategic technology solutions including cloud hosted platforms, Mobile applications, CRM portals and more. Establish approaches for test code development. Integrate test automation with Scrum workflow and build processes. Complement and uplift testing practices in some “legacy” testing streams through the introduction of automation and transition into DevOps. Design and implement automation frameworks, ensuring usability, effectiveness, efficiency and maintainability are met. Frameworks must support backend and UI components, with a particular emphasis on Accessibility. Skills and Experience Required Expert “hands-on” technical proficiency in the principles and practical application of automation testing, test frameworks, CI/CD, across a variety of tools. Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of role autonomy and a “can do” attitude. Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computing Science or Mathematics or another relevant technical field. 2–5 years’ experience in a senior automation test role. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
