Ignite Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Senior Tester Contract: 12 months with 2x6 month extensions Security Clearance: Must have a Baseline Security Clearance Key Responsibilities: Analyse business requirements and acceptance criteria documented in User Stories to plan and design testing strategies. Develop and maintain test documentation such as test cases and test data for Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects, using industry-standard testing techniques, methodologies, and tools. Execute various testing phases including system, integration, accessibility, regression, and user acceptance testing in a highly integrated environment. Conduct testing activities for business applications within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Monitor and report on testing trends, project performance, and adherence to schedules. 5+ years demonstrated experience in software testing, designing, and executing test processes for new product developments across organisational environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and produce clear, concise testing documentation. Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with a keen eye for quality and detail. In-depth knowledge of: ISO Testing Standards Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Accessibility and usability standards Experience using Azure DevOps for test plans and defect management. Hands-on experience in designing and delivering automated test suites for new and existing applications.
