As our highly valued Senior Trade and Investment Officer, you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress. Reporting to the Manager, Northern Region, you will have the opportunity to assist the greater regional network team in developing and maintaining effective networks, consultation, negotiation and liaison with key stakeholders to deliver export and investment advisory services and events to assist export ready businesses within the regions. Based in Mackay, here's what your role will involve: Provide high quality and practical export advice to businesses using your experience and the networks available to you, to assist Queensland companies succeed in export markets. Facilitate regional visit programs for visiting delegations, dignitaries and key stakeholders to showcase key regional opportunities and achievements. Develop and foster effective relationships with key stakeholders in Queensland across the sector and industry, as well as local, state and federal agencies, to build commitment to long term growth. Leverage these relationships to co-develop and deliver industry and market development opportunities. Represent TIQ on inter-departmental, national and industry committees and present and participate in key government and business forums to identify investment and export opportunities. Coordinate and manage projects and engage with investment clients to enhance collaboration and a pipeline of opportunities, that assist with the investment component actions of the Queensland Trade and Investment Strategy. This includes partnering with other business units within TIQ to assist with profiling Queensland globally as the perfect place to invest.
