We have a strong and thriving team in our South Walker Creek mine in the Bowen Basin and seek a Senior Training Advisor to support our operations. Job Description But let's tell you more about your new role… Responsible for governing the design and execution of the training framework for the site, ensuring compliance with Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulation and the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulation. Ensure compliance with Coal Mining Safety and Health legislation whilst adhering to Stanmore Resources policies, standards, and procedures. Develop, implement, and oversee training programmes including needs assessment, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of training materials and delivery methods. Manage training governance framework including maintaining registers, documentation, and reporting for assurance, risk, and SHMS reviews. Provide leadership and support to crew supervisors, trainers, and assessors, including coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance of training delivery. Drive safety excellence through active participation in safety management practices, leading safety observations, and maintaining a proactive safety culture. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders whilst providing specialist advice on training function performance and improvement initiatives.
