Contract Duration: Approx. 6–8 weeks (with potential for extension) Start Date: ASAP Daily Rate: $700/day + Super Are you a talented UI Designer with a solid understanding of UX principles ? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your work directly impacts customer engagement and business outcomes? We’re looking for an experienced UI Designer to join a well-established financial services organisation on a contract basis, supporting exciting digital transformation projects. About the Role This short-term contract offers a unique opportunity to enhance and optimise a high-traffic website. Your focus will include implementing updates identified through customer experience testing and translating these improvements to align with localised requirements for an international market. You’ll also contribute to rebuilding and refining the organisation’s design system , ensuring visual consistency and usability across the board. Key Responsibilities Implement design updates for the Australian website based on customer acquisition and engagement insights. Replicate and adapt Australian website improvements for the New Zealand market, addressing cultural and regulatory nuances. Collaborate with internal teams to rebuild and refine the design system, addressing inconsistencies and ensuring scalability. Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing operations, product owners, and web development teams, to align on deliverables. Support ongoing development of the website’s CMS. About You You are an experienced UI Designer with a strong grasp of UX and a track record of delivering user-friendly digital experiences. Your proactive communication style, organisational skills, and ability to translate complex requirements into practical design solutions make you a perfect fit for this role. While financial services experience is preferred, candidates with enterprise-level project experience or familiarity with regulated industries are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Bring: Expertise in Figma and experience working within a design system. An understanding of CMS platforms. A proactive, organised approach to managing tasks and collaborating across teams. Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt designs for different cultural and regulatory contexts. Previous experience in financial services or enterprise environments is highly regarded. The team operates on a hybrid model, with two in-office days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to foster collaboration and effective communication.
