The Opportunity: Join our dynamic and high performing design studio based in Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Designer with a strong background in greenfield projects to join our team. In this role you will: Develop innovative and sustainable master plans, urban design frameworks, and design guidelines, principally for greenfield residential and employment developments but also large infill sites. Manage the design process for development projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions. Conduct comprehensive site and context analysis, research and feasibility studies to inform design decisions. Engage with stakeholders, including local councils, developers, and community groups, to ensure project alignment with community needs and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present drawings, rationales and reports to clients and stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in greenfield development. About you: Hold a Tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning or a related field. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in urban design, with a strong focus on greenfield projects. Have demonstrated experience of contributing to high-quality greenfield development projects. Excellent design, analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS. A passion for sustainable design and development.
