Job Description

Salary: Up to $130k package. Training: Will train an experienced Commercial Valuer (5+yrs) into this niche. Career Development: Firm that actively helps their people build careers (even into other specialties – Funds Development etc). Position: Valuer or Senior Valuer in Litigation & Compensation to join a major International Property & Advisory firm from their Melbourne office. If you are a Commercial Valuer looking to train into a specialised niche, then this is the perfect opportunity to do so as they are very happy to take someone experienced in general commercial and up-skill them in the legal side of things. The Role: Acquisition (Compensation/compulsory acquisition) and Litigation specialisation. Compensation work – Compulsory acquisition for infrastructure and major projects across VIC, act on behalf of govt and land owners. Built Form Valuations: Apartment Blocks & Mixed-use Developments. Collaborative with transaction management advice – work between the teams & with other specialist valuations teams. Interesting work on projects like the Suburban Rail Loop where you are acting for most of the land owners. This firm has a strong history of training and development and is happy to help their staff diversify. If fund/development or any other niche they handle is somewhere you want to take your career, they are happy to help you get there. Experience: Ideal candidate comes from Mid-market commercial mortgage work ($1m – $20m valuations) with compensation/compulsory acquisition experience BUT as mentioned, they are happy to take an experienced Commercial Valuer and train into the specialty.
