Our Surface Water & Land team has global coverage and significant public and private sector consulting experience in hydrology, water resources assessment, hydrometrics, monitoring, flood risk, stormwater management, mine water management, impact assessments and water access, licensing, climate change modelling, water security and water quality requirements. With a strong pipeline of projects, we’re currently on the lookout for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team and help deliver projects across Australia. We offer flexibility that works for you and hybrid working options that mean this role could be based at any of the following locations: Newcastle, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM: You’ll join a diverse team of engineers delivering technical support and advice across a variety of areas including flooding, water management, water quality and water balance. With a steady flow of big projects, you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full project life-cycle - feasibility, planning, approvals, operations, closure and rehab. Your diverse experience will mean you can contribute across renewable energy, mining and urban development projects. Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact: Relevant tertiary degree in a relevant field such as civil or environmental engineering. Strong foundation in hydrology, with experience across several areas such as flooding, water management, water quality and water balance. Previous experience in mining projects is essential, with experience in renewable energy projects desirable. CPENG or RPEQ and computer programming skills would be advantageous, though not essential. Proven capability in project management and/or a strong desire to grow project management skills. Highly developed research, analysis and report writing skills.
