Your Challenge You will lead complex hydrogeological investigations, developing conceptual models of groundwater systems, and collaborating with expert numerical modellers to deliver practical solutions for clients. You’ll oversee a team of early career hydrogeologists, guiding them through field-based and desk-based investigations, ensuring the highest technical standards. Success in this role means: Managing projects from end to end, including full stakeholder engagement, investigation design, and delivery. Developing trusted, data-driven insights that guide informed groundwater management decisions. Contributing to business development, fostering strong client relationships, maintaining project quality and financial performance. The utilisation rate is 70% for Senior Consultants and 65% for Principals. Playing a key role in AGE Consultants’ flourishing reputation as Australia’s leading groundwater consultancy, you will be a strong and visible presence within the business, with clients, and across the wider groundwater management industry. About You You’ll bring relevant degree qualifications, strong expertise in hydrogeological conceptualisation and impact assessments, comprehensive project management and report writing capabilities. Prior fieldwork management experience and skills will be an asset. The ability to engage in numerical modelling discussions and guide clients through the model design and predictions would greatly enrich engagement. Your enthusiasm for mentoring and driving the technical development of project level team members will complement our culture of continuous learning.
