Job Description
Our client, a leading mining company in WA, is currently seeking a Server & Storage consultant on a long-term contract, with expertise on Netapps and Commvault . This is a key role for a proactive professional who can manage large-scale, multi-domain storage and backup environments effectively.Key Responsibilities Commvault Administration: Set up, configure, and maintain Commvault backup systems across various environments. Manage data copies and implement data aging. NetApp Storage Solutions: Design, implement, and support NetApp FAS-based storage systems. Ensure data replication, high availability, and use of CIFS, NFS, and iSCSI protocols. Systems Administration: Oversee enterprise-level storage (SAN, NAS) and server environments. Implement best practices in backup, recovery, and data storage. Disaster Recovery: Develop, test, and validate disaster recovery plans. Virtualization and Cloud Integration: Support virtualization platforms and Cisco UCS hardware. Familiarity with Azure or AWS is a plus. Networking Knowledge: Apply networking concepts and protocols, including firewall considerations. Requirements Experience: 5+ years with Commvault in large-scale environments. 5+ years with NetApp solutions. 3+ years in systems administration. Technical Skills: Strong backup, recovery, and disaster recovery knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
