Add expected salary to your profile for insights Jackson Motor Company has an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor to join the team working in our brand new, state of the art facility in Launceston alongside dedicated and skilled professionals. About the role: In this position, your day will be busy and filled with variety. You will utilise your exceptional administration and customer service skills to act as the principal contact between the dealership and customers to coordinate the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be liaising with service department customers, both face-to-face and over the phone. Responsibilities: Taking customer enquiries and service bookings Determining the customers’ needs and communicating these to the workshop Advising customers on the progress of their service Gaining authorisation for extra work About you: You are motivated, organised and well-presented with exceptional communication skills and experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role. You are driven to exceed targets and expectations and have a strong customer service background, ideally in the retail automotive industry. You will also have: a friendly, positive and outgoing nature a high standard of personal presentation an excellent phone manner exceptional time management skills a high level of computer literacy the ability to operate calmly in a fast-paced environment self-discipline and the ability to follow processes and procedures a current manual driver's license.
