Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Company produces 110koz of gold annually from two operations – the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA & the Henty Gold Mine in Australia. It also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo. The Company plans to bring four new mining areas at Plutonic into production over the next 12 to 18 months, growing Group production to 200koz of gold. Working a 7:7 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90 mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, modern ensuite rooms, just to list some of the facilities. The Role Job scoping, planning and execution. Installation of services and ventilation to all development and production headings. Removal & Installation of secondary ventilation fans. Installation of cable bolts. Obtain the requisite competencies and perform other duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor, including assisting Jumbo Operators, assisting Charge-up Operators and operating dump trucks. Perform thorough pre-start checks and report all damage as soon as possible but before the end of the shift. Assist electricians when installing HV cables. Building walls for ventilation. Operate all equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating manual and site-specific operating procedures. Mentoring and training of service crew members.
