McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, helping businesses improve performance, manage risk, and achieve stability and growth. You are an experienced Service Desk Support professional who will join our National IT team based in Sydney. You support the firm’s IT environment, including support for laptops, meeting rooms, printers, and mobile devices, as well as applications, software, and user access. Reporting to the National Service Delivery Manager and working closely with all IT team members, you will have a passion for excellent customer experience and continuous improvement. Closing Date 26-January-2025 What you will do Provide support to colleagues either over the phone, via email, or in person, and resolve their computing problems/requests in a timely manner. Follow standard Service Desk operating procedures – accurately log Service Desk requests and incidents using Fresh Service. Troubleshoot and/or perform installations of hardware and software. Perform maintenance on peripheral equipment such as laptops, printers, mobile handsets, and other IT hardware. Provide assistance/input to develop and update processes, procedures, and work instructions. Administer and update IT systems e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Office 365 Administration. Who you are Very good written and verbal communicator. Information Technology or technology-related qualification. Microsoft Certification. ITIL Foundation Certificate (preferred). Experience in a similar role – phone, email, and face-to-face support, incident and problem management, maintaining Asset Register/Configuration Management database. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, mobile device support and management, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills. Intermediate understanding of network management and LAN/WAN concepts. Proven time management skills and the ability to autonomously manage and prioritize workloads.
