About The Position This position reports directly to the Group Manager Community Services and is responsible for leading the community development, community grants, volunteer, youth and reconciliation service areas. The role ensures successful delivery of a range of innovative community development projects, events, and programs that foster partnerships, relationships and inclusion. About You A community focused leader with expertise in managing a broad range of community development projects, events, and programs whilst effectively balancing resource allocation and meeting customer expectations. A skilled communicator with a strong ability to influence and negotiate, experienced in building effective relationships with key stakeholders, engaging with the City’s diverse demographics and providing advisory support to the Group Manager and Executive. As a role model, you will have the ability to coach and manage team performance while fostering a positive work culture, team growth, creativity and continuous improvement within the team. Salary And Benefits A competitive remuneration package commencing at $179,000 per annum will be offered dependent on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications.
