About the position This position reports directly to the Group Manager, Assets and Projects and is accountable for leading the Asset, Facility Management and Civil Infrastructure service areas, overseeing the development and implementation of best practice asset management systems and processes. Additionally, it ensures the successful delivery of operational outcomes that align with the City’s approved strategic goals.About you The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Facility Management, Asset Management and Civil Infrastructure along with a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, industry trends, best practices and emerging challenges. You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and facilitate effective community consultation. Additionally, you will provide expert advice to senior leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of safe, high quality infrastructure through well-informed decision making. As a role model, you will have the ability to coach and manage team performance while fostering continuous improvement, a strong team culture and achieving the organisation’s strategic goals and vision.Salary and Benefits A competitive remuneration package commencing at $179,000 per annum will be offered dependent on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications.We’re offering a range of great benefits: Generous superannuation (up to 15.5 per cent) Cockburn ARC membership.
