As the Service Manager, your foremost concern is guiding the team to enhance each resident's quality of life. This role is a full-time permanent position, which drives cultural practices to ensure top-tier services are provided to our residents. A proven track record in finance, human resources, workplace health and safety, and legislative compliance is essential. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of senior management experience in aged care or related sectors (hospitality, health). Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs. Effective communication skills across all levels. Proactive with a collaborative problem-solving approach to solutions. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with Autumn Care is advantageous. Applicants must undergo a valid national police check and pre-employment medical assessment. Main Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a diverse team across clinical care, administration, HR, and hotel services. Assist in roster preparation on a fortnightly basis as well as face-to-face orientations for new starters. Maintain accessibility to residents, their representatives, and your team. Ensure residents feel respected and well-cared for, adhering to evidence-based best practices. Stay updated on legislative requirements and changes. Contribute to the development and implementation of the management system. Support Palm Lake Care's strategic direction, growth, and continuous improvement.
