About the Role: In support of our growing portfolio, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated Trade Assistants / Service Person to join our WA operations on a variety of rosters. These are permanent positions within the business. As a passionate team player, you will have endless opportunities to work across world class assets embracing social value, teamwork, and collaboration. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining & repairing a wide variety of fixed plant assets. As a candidate who enjoys working in a team of high safety and operational standards, you will be responsible for working across three key disciplines: Scrapers, Skirt Liners, Rollers on a variety of fixed plant equipment including conveyors, screenhouses, and stackers and reclaimers. We are seeking candidates with shutdown experience within mining specifically with exposure to the above fixed plant equipment. Remove and replace conveyor idlers (rollers), bulk and singularly. Remove and replace idler frames. Carry out routine inspections on skirt liners. Undertake training and upskilling as relevant to technical role. Be comfortable in the use of maintenance systems (SAP) or willingness to learn. Take personal responsibility for achieving results. Actively participate in identification of continuous improvement. Safety first with the capacity to speak up and play an active role in positive team culture and creating a great workplace. About you: You will present with shutdown experience within mining ideally with exposure to the fixed plant experience mentioned. Conveyor Maintenance being highly regarded, you will ideally hold your EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Testing as a minimum. Candidates with Rigging exposure are also encouraged to apply. Experience working in fixed plant shutdown or maintenance working to a flexible roster. Working at heights – Gas testing – Confined Space preferred. What is on offer: This role is based within the Pilbara region of Western Australia, on a fly in fly out on a variety of rosters. 8/6 and Dynamic roster are the most common.
