Service Technician/Engineer (Water Treatment & Scientific Solutions) Qtech Australia Pty Ltd is a leading provider of engineering and chemical treatment solutions for water purification. We specialise in designing, installing, and servicing end-to-end water treatment solutions, ensuring sustainability and practicality in removing toxic substances from water. We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer with experience in the scientific field , who can provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our water treatment systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems. Conduct diagnostic testing, calibration, and validation of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of systems. Analyse water quality data and recommend adjustments for treatment processes. Work closely with chemical engineers and scientists to optimize treatment methods. Maintain detailed service records , including system performance reports. Ensure compliance with Australian water quality standards and environmental regulations . Travel to client sites across Sydney and surrounding regions for service calls. Assist in research and development initiatives to improve treatment processes. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Electrical), Science (Chemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology), or a related field . Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical service, field service, or scientific role related to water treatment, filtration, or chemical processing . Hands-on experience with pumps, filtration systems, dosing equipment, and analytical instruments . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a scientific mindset . Ability to interpret scientific data, schematics, and technical documentation . Knowledge of water chemistry, microbiology, and industrial water treatment processes is an advantage. Familiarity with ISO standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
