As Service Transition Engineer, you will play a key role in continuously improving our IT services, exceeding our service level agreement (SLAs) and compliance objectives, and provide technical expertise to our managed services clients and Service Delivery Team. Key Responsibilities: Technical Compliance : Monitor IT service performance to meet SLAs, and promptly coordinate the resolution of escalated technical issues. Perform proactive maintenance, reporting, and audits of IT systems. Actively maintain client risk registers and ensure accuracy and completeness. Incident & Problem Management : Oversee major incidents and ensure compliance with SLAs and service management processes and identify recurring issues to develop permanent solutions. Change Management : Plan, implement, and review changes to IT services to minimize disruption. Continuously review and improve process to improve outcomes. Client Communication : Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business requirements are translated into technical solutions. Process Improvement : Contribute to improving our service delivery processes, identifying ways to increase efficiency and enhance the overall service quality. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and provide valuable insights on service performance and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) ITIL certification or other service management certifications. 2-3 years’ experience in IT service delivery, support, or a similar role. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Experience in network/server/application monitoring. A solid understanding of ITIL principles and service management frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand way. A customer-focused mindset, always striving for excellent service.
