About the role: Highly respected Tier 2 builder are looking for an experienced Services Engineer/Manager to join the team working on an exciting upcoming commercial project in Regional NSW. The company, which has been established for over 40 years, specializes in government, commercial, education, health, and industrial projects up to $750 million. They are highly respected in what they do and, due to continuous project wins, are looking to add another Services Engineer/Manager to the team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee industrial construction projects, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure. Manage project planning, scheduling, and change management, coordinating with stakeholders to maintain timelines and budgets. Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to identify and mitigate risks related to construction methodologies, site works, and compliance. Conduct regular site inspections, report on progress and defects, and participate in site meetings to ensure adherence to project specifications. Review and process monthly progress claims, working with project teams to verify claims and manage reporting requirements. Coordinate vendor and trade interfaces, ensuring seamless procurement and reviewing trade recommendations. Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, establishing regular project meetings and maintaining project documentation. Support cost control efforts, working with project accountants and finance teams to manage budgets and expenditures. Oversee commissioning plans, ensuring functional testing of all facility operations before handover. Manage defect rectification and handover processes, ensuring compliance, documentation, and licensing requirements are met. About You: Experience of delivering projects more than $50 million in a Services Engineer/Manager role from start to finish. Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence, build consensus, and work well within a team environment. Ability to liaise with customers during the sales and settlement processes.
