An exciting opportunity exists for a Shipping Container Surveyor to join our team to work at our Empty Container Park in Laverton North, Melbourne. Duties and responsibilities are: Inspect and assess a variety of containers received at our site as per our customer criteria. Take photographs of container damages. Produce repair estimates according to the inspection and as per our customer criteria. Using a handheld device, submit repair estimates in Container Chain operating system within customer required time frames. Carry out minor repairs and blow outs. What you will bring to us: Previous experience in shipping containers surveying preferred, however training is also provided. IICL certificate preferred but not essential. Knowledge of shipping companies and leasing companies’ criteria and procedure is a plus. Experience using handheld devices and the Container Chain operating system preferred but not essential. Ability to work well within a small team environment. How do your skills match this job?
