We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join this well-respected high-end furnishing company as a Showroom Sales Consultant. Be a part of this professional team based in the Lower North Shore assisting their up-market clientele with purchase decisions. This role requires you to give customers a buying experience that makes them feel like the most important customer and keeps them coming back time and time again. This is a full-time role with a normal 38 hour week, days are negotiable but must include one weekend day, preferably Saturday or Sunday. Your role is showroom based and includes: Present products and services to clients supporting them to make a decision to purchase furniture, products and associated services. Meeting monthly sales targets. Meet & greet all customers that enter the showroom. Undertake all sales processes in a timely manner always ensuring superior customer service. Have comprehensive product knowledge to ensure the features and benefits of products and services are clearly and succinctly shared with prospective clients. Ensuring showroom is always kept professional, clean and at a very high standard. Keeping all showroom products clean and tidy and correct swatches on display. Daily showroom patrols to ensure any empty spaces are re-stocked with new products including wall stock like mirrors, lights etc. Liaising with overseas suppliers, local delivery companies and tradespeople. Any other required sales/showroom duties as required. Administrative duties – orders, deliveries, invoices, and delivery schedules. Client outreach through appointment setting. Building long term relationships with new and existing customers, and drive repeat purchases. You will have: Previous sales/showroom experience preferably in a similar industry. Professional presentation along with exceptional communication skills. Act at all times in a professional manner, showing respect and consideration for all colleagues and customers. Maintain a clean and safe space, and abide by health and safety policies and procedures. Ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Have a strong customer service focus. Strong organisational skills and capabilities to multi-task. This is a full-time role with an immediate start for the right person, parking on-site or easily accessible via public transport.
