The reason for this role: Based permanently at site and reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the execution of warranty operation and maintenance tasks to assets installed at the Wind Farm or Solar Farm. These tasks will be conducted on the installed Wind Turbine Generators and/or Solar Farm generating assets and some Balance of Plant equipment. The Site Assistant Manager may also be required to undertake technical and service support or physical troubleshooting at other installed Goldwind Australia wind farms located throughout Australia. What you will be doing? Adhere to Work Health Safety & Environmental (WHSE) Standards & Goldwind Australia’s relative policies and procedures. Report all site WHSE matters as per company policies and procedures. Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily pre-start meetings. Ensure all high-risk tasks have undertaken a hazard identification and risk assessment analysis and include relevant Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before the task is executed. Lead service crews and contractors through pre-start process including HSE documentation, scope and location of the proceeding works. Identify and resolve any risks when completing tasks captured on Goldwind systems and report to Site Manager. Understand customer needs and maintain high customer satisfaction through good stakeholder practices. What does your background look like? Previous experience working on large industrial Electrical or Mechanical assets in either a construction, commissioning or maintenance environment; and working within a troubleshooting or fault-finding environment. Previous experience working within the Wind Industry is highly desired as well as people and stakeholder management experience. A certificate in Microsoft Office suite would be highly desirable. Construction White Card, Working at Heights, First Aid and HV certification would be highly desired. Experience maintaining equipment (assets) specifically in the electrical generating industry and Switchyard or sub-station maintenance would be highly regarded. Valid Driver’s License.
