Site Manager (Fixed-Term Position) – Narrabri, NSW Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to supervise the delivery of a commercial project for our client in Narrabri, NSW. The project is scheduled to begin in March 2025 and is expected to be completed by December 2025. About our Client Thomas McWilliam is representing a trusted industry leader in commercial construction. Our client is a multi-award-winning commercial construction company that has been operating in the Central West for over 25 years, delivering diverse commercial projects from $5M to $35M for Government, Commercial, and Local Council sectors across regional NSW. About the Role As the Site Manager, you will support the project team with day-to-day operations and supervise the on-site progress of the project. Your responsibilities will include managing staff and subcontractors, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. This position is strictly on-site in Narrabri NSW , and we encourage applications from local candidates, those willing to commute from surrounding areas or relocate for the contract duration. About You Experienced in working on commercial construction sites in Australia of similar size and scope, with a strong understanding of the Australian Building Codes. Proven background in site management or a similar role within the construction industry. Experienced in managing stakeholder relationships, keeping subcontractors and employees accountable and fostering strong local connections. Relevant trade qualifications and a ‘boots on the ground’ type of attitude. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Good understanding of construction processes, budgeting, safety protocols, and regulations.
