About the role: We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong trade background and experience working across commercial construction activities. As the site supervisor, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing the day-to-day management of all site activities including but not limited to subcontractor co-ordination, site safety, programme, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate would be someone looking to utilise their current construction knowledge, have defence or defence industry project work experience/exposure and help expand the business within the region, or exposure in turn cementing yourself in a growing company for a long successful career with the potential for career growth as desired. You will be provided with a Company vehicle (or equivalent vehicle allowance), laptop, and phone to complete your day-to-day works. About you: The successful applicant shall demonstrate the following: Successful related work experience in a similar role. Working collaboratively with teams to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and business protocols for both clients and McMahon Services. Drafting and reviewing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and risk assessment. Effectively read, interpret construction drawings and specifications. Communicate and drive project plans effectively to the site. Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the project. Effective communication skills to build and foster positive relationships with clients/key stakeholders, project teams, management, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ability to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise, implementing corrective actions as needed. Certificate III in Carpentry or relevant trade experience. Capacity to work independently and follow directions, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Construction White Card. Current Driver’s Licence. Senior first aid training. Working at heights training. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and efficient use of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Advantage if trained in MS Project, Pronto, Procore or other similar construction software and project management tools. Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment. Must be an Australian citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Base Line - Australian Defence security clearance (DCAC) if already not held.
