Skilled Plant Operator – Engineering Permanent Full time Salary: $72,053 per annum ($1385 per week) 9-day fortnight Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply) Ref No: 25-024 Infrastructure Management Services are seeking an individual to deliver sweeper cleaning services including, sweeping of pavements throughout the City to set programs, providing sweeping services for works crews and other areas, gully educating services, including attending to traffic accidents and fuel spills. This position requires truck driving and operation of plant and equipment. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in operating a road sweeper to programs and time frames, as well as small plant and equipment. Successful applicants will also be required to hold the following permits/ licences: Appropriate plant operating certificates in one or all of the following:Plant Operators Certificate for Skid Steer Loader. Plant Operators Certificate for Front End Loader. Plant Operators Certificate for Excavator. Verification of competency for Sweeper Operations. Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates Current First Aid Certificate including CPR Please complete a cover letter (no more than 2 pages) and resume which covers the following selection criteria: Minimum of two years’ experience in operating plant equipment including Road Sweeper operations. Knowledge of plant maintenance, operating techniques and practices. Experience working in a team environment completing designated work tasks to expected standards within relevant timescales, whilst providing direction to external parties where appropriate.
