Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with a fortnightly RDO (overtime available) Location: Parkes, NSW Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on small engines and motorised equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with small motors, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators and other equipment used by the council. Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts to extend the life of the equipment. Parts Procurement: Interact with council staff to understand their equipment needs and provide timely service. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Key Requirements: Strong interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work safely and follow instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork ability. White Card. Why Join Us?
