As a nationwide brand, BCMC Safety Solutions is all about making properties safer, and we have a great opportunity for a Smoke Alarm Technician (no electrical licence required) and a Safety Service and smoke alarm electrician who has an electrical license to join our Sydney team in various locations. This role involves completing safety checks and tests only, as well as changing hardwired smoke alarms. There is no further work, quoting, paperwork, or manual labour required, making this position easy and stress-free. We also have opportunities for the full-time role. With guaranteed ongoing work, you will be working within a team of like-minded people. About the opportunity: Receive a daily run sheet of jobs to complete each day and have the support of a local office if needed. Conduct safety inspections at residential rental properties in accordance with The Government Legislation in NSW, including but not limited to smoke alarm testing, water efficiency checks, blind compliance, air conditioning cleaning, and minimal switchboard safety checks. Full training and ongoing support is provided. Qualities we need in you: Punctual with time management skills. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Polite and courteous with good presentation. Trustworthy and dependable. Current Electrical license (for the electrician position). Experience we need from you: Ability to navigate basic technology, including an iPhone. A national police check will be required if successful. Basic understanding of using tools. Electrical License required (for the electrician position).
