Our Snowsports Team are passionate about helping Thredbo's guests conquer all things Snowsports and this includes Instructors, Race & Event Staff, Admin & Sales Staff, and Support Staff. We are seeking applications from passionate leaders and role models within the Snowsports Industry, to ELEVATE our winter operations as part of our leadership team. These roles provide positive leadership, inspiration, communication, and guidance to staff. Thredboland 5-6yrs Leading Hand Freeriders Leading Hand School Groups Supervisor These leaders are responsible for supervising the daily operations of our Snowsports lessons and programs. Dedicated to a specific area, be the on-snow point person, supervise and lead instructors assigned to your program, while organizing classes daily ensuring guest satisfaction and safety are your top priority. Children’s Program Assistant Leading Hand The Children’s Program Assistant Lead Hand is primarily responsible for supporting the daily operations of our Children’s program products, assisting both Snowsports Instructors and Guests (children and parents). You will provide direction and support for other employees and enhance department productivity through motivation and leading by example. General Administration Supervisor The General Administration Supervisor is responsible for the efficient administration of adult lessons, school group booking, and special programs offerings at Thredbo Snowsports. You will be pivotal to assisting our instructor staff with their schedules, bookings, availability, and resolving other admin issues, and ensure forward rostering of instructors for lesson requirements is completed in line with business demands. About the role Inspire and lead culturally diverse teams to achieve their best. Communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders to problem-solve issues on the fly. Show a willingness to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in a customer-facing role. Identify and proactively resolve issues. Adapt and think on your feet. Help other people achieve their goals. About You APSI Level 2, 3 or 4 certifications, or equivalent. (although desirable this is not required for administrative positions). Sound knowledge of Snowsports instruction and/or the Snowsports Industry. An understanding of Children's on-snow programs and duty of care requirements for minors. Proven experience with effectively leading or supervising a team of staff. Highly skilled in all modes of communication and negotiation skills. A valid NSW working with children check.
