Lead community connection and inclusion while driving impactful change where it matters most. Council’s Community Partnerships Branch is recruiting for the position of Social Inclusion Action Group Facilitator. About the Opportunity This role empowers you to drive social inclusion by working with the community to identify needs, foster collaboration, and deliver impactful initiatives. You'll oversee projects, support decision-making, and champion inclusive practices while helping shape a more connected and innovative community. What you will bring Ideally the successful applicant will have the following: A tertiary qualification in a related field such as community development, social sciences, public health or health promotion and demonstrated experience in community development. Knowledge and understanding of mental health promotion and prevention. Demonstrated experience in co-design, working with community members and leaders to co-create and implement innovative and local solutions in response to community need. Experience leading diverse, multi-disciplinary working groups and supervising staff and/or volunteers to deliver collaborative innovative and quality outcomes. Well-developed facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment. Current Drivers Licence. Salary and Conditions The position is classified within Band 7 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $104,988.52 to $117,480.48 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
