Social Infrastructure & Engagement Manager Milton, QLD, Australia Job Description Downer is the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. Our Energy and Utilities business provides end-to-end facilities management and asset lifecycle support services for Australia’s critical economic infrastructure. We work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency, and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities. As our Energy and Utility Business Unit continues to grow, we are in need of an experienced Social Infrastructure & Engagement Manager to join our growing vibrant team based in Brisbane. THE ROLE The purpose of the Social Infrastructure and Engagement Manager is to develop and drive the ongoing implementation and delivery of the E&U Social Infrastructure & Engagement framework for ANZ. Manage the development and implementation of activities aligning with the Downer Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), Downer client facing representation, and the associated programmes of work and initiatives across Downer Group that reflect the Enterprise-wide goals of Community and Inclusion & Belonging. The role acts as an indigenous community champion, engaging with indigenous communities, Social Diversity Groups, industry bodies, employment agencies, and education providers to attract diverse talent to Downer Group as well as representing the Diversity Inclusion & Belonging champion across the EU Business. ABOUT YOU • 10+ years relevant experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment supporting culturally sensitive programs of work across the organisation to champion cultural capability and cultural safety.• Experience in supporting programmes of work that support reconciliation action plans and employment of indigenous people.• Demonstrated expertise in Aboriginal and Torres Strait history and culture, protocols, and complex socio-economic circumstances.• Experience engaging with Indigenous groups and communities to build strong partnerships and trusted relationships with representatives and community members to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.• Demonstrated experience developing D&I sensitive cultural frameworks including road maps, targets, budgets, etc.• Demonstrated experience running diversity programs (Pride Month, etc.) mapping inclusivity into the business with pastoral care initiatives for women, diverse groups of individuals, identifications, religions, and ethnicity.
