Social Media Content Creator and Manager (Hourly) We're looking for a social media manager and content creator for our agency. Each client is unique with their brand, audience goals, and styles, so we need to keep this in mind when creating new content to represent the brand. Key Responsibilities: Design a content calendar for our social media channels. Include all main events, sale events, and key dates in the social media calendar. Generate unique and interesting ideas that are engaging and promote conversion for our eCommerce stores. Create all necessary text for the posts. Perform a hashtag strategy for the overall account and specific posts based on their themes & goals. Communicate and deal directly with our graphic designer to create the graphics related to the posts. Report back to our marketing manager on performance and identify winning posts to use as ideas and foundations for future posts. Skills Required: Social media hashtag strategy Good time management Good organizational skills Fluency in Australian English Asana for task management Skype for communication Wise account for payment Microsoft account for sharing resources via OneDrive Experience in AI writing tools, like ChatGPT, Claude, or others Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with different styles and brand voices Experience working with a specialized Australian agency Very organized setup A room for creativity and self-development Opportunities for more work and hours, with potential to turn full-time for the right person Generous pay rises for the right candidate The ideal candidate will be proactive and have a good understanding of marketing concepts and principles, as well as an understanding of the eCommerce space. This position will start as a freelance job but may potentially become a full-time role for the right individual, as we have multiple accounts that need management.
