Do you want to put your awesome social media skills to use in a purpose-driven organisation? We are looking to recruit a Social Media Coordinator VOLUNTEER to join a registered charity board at Possible Dreams International (PDI). This role sits under the MarComms (Marketing Communications) subcommittee function of a small grassroots not-for-profit and works closely with our Social Media Lead. Please note that this is a VOLUNTEER ROLE While the role can be done remotely, any applicants MUST CURRENTLY BE BASED IN AUSTRALIA Our Vision: Possible Dreams International envisions a future where rural communities in the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland) are able to transcend the insidious cycle of disease and poverty, to lead healthy, independent, dignified lives with sufficient food, clean water, sanitation, income and security. Our Mission: Possible Dreams International partners with rural communities in the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland) to improve health through a strategy of upholding dignity, emergency relief aid, and sustainability projects. Our Values: Compassion - honouring dignity and alleviating suffering Integrity - commitment to honest and ethical work Community Empowerment - projects engage communities at every stage Respect - for all persons, unconditionally Commitments: Time: Approx 1-2 hours a week on average but sometimes not required weekly Attend at least 75% of committee meetings and special events Attend Marketing Communications Sub-Committee meetings, held every two months online in the evening with volunteers around Australia. Outcomes: to develop content for our social media calendar and schedule posting You will bring: Knowledge & experience in Marketing This includes but is not limited to: social media marketing (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), digital marketing and fundraising events/campaigns (the latter is desirable, but not essential) An ability to create eye-catching graphics using Canva that align to PDI’s brand. An ability to create flyers and other online graphics would be helpful to support us during fundraising campaigns.
