Play a key role in launching our eCommerce platform, driving the next phase of growth for Young Gun of Wine. Your work will directly contribute to growing Australia’s wine culture and supporting sustainable winegrowing practices. Responsibilities: Social Media: We’re looking for a content creator with a flair for shooting and editing short format videos for social media! Develop and implement creative social media strategies, with a strong focus on TikTok and Instagram, to align with the brand’s goals and audience. Plan and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent delivery of engaging, on-brand posts across all channels. Create and edit short-form video content specifically designed for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), keeping up with platform trends and audience preferences. Write compelling short-form captions, headlines, and taglines that resonate with a wide audience. Engage actively with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner, fostering meaningful connections. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies for optimal growth and engagement. Event Management: Plan and coordinate weekly wine tasting events, featuring wines from a large number of wineries and attended by a panel of around six expert judges. Liaise with wineries across Australia to ensure timely delivery of wine samples, following up as necessary to address delays or issues. Actively reach out to wineries and stakeholders across Australia to ensure timely delivery of wine samples and sufficient participation in weekly tasting events. Create event run sheets and manage logistics, including setup, breakdown, and planning for required resources. Prepare event materials, ensuring they are professional and align with brand standards. Act as the primary point of contact for venues, panellists, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and execution. Maintain a centralized schedule for event planning, sample tracking, and deadlines to ensure all timelines are met. Communication and Relationship Management: Maintain proactive communication with wineries, panellists, and other stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process. Approach outreach tasks with confidence and persistence to secure required participation levels and event success. Specific Skills and Experience Required: Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram. Proficiency in creating and editing short-form video content tailored for social media. Candidates will be required to provide examples of their work. Event Skills: Experience planning and coordinating events, including logistics, scheduling, and managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills and strong work ethic, with attention to detail to ensure the seamless execution of events. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface warmly and professionally. Comfortable making outbound calls and performing proactive outreach to stakeholders, with a focus on achieving results and maintaining positive relationships. Interest in Wine: A genuine interest in wine and its culture; formal wine qualifications are not required , but enthusiasm for the industry is essential. Fresh perspectives are encouraged!
