ROLE OVERVIEW: In four years, Good&Proper has become one of the leading (smallest!) purpose-driven creative comms agencies in Australia. With services covering branded content, editorial, PR, production and creative, we have developed a strong foundation of retained partners, and a team of talented, values-aligned professionals who care deeply about their work, the people they work with and the culture we have created. We are now seeking an experienced, creative and values-aligned Social Lead to help us take our partners’ social media presence to the next level. We’re looking to connect our partners’ impactful messages, products and services with more people than ever and to create work of lasting value (we’re not interested in contributing to the noise). We need someone who knows sustainability and climate inside out, can spot greenwashing from fifty paces, and is a storyteller at heart – one who’s keen to use their talents to connect more people to our stories of solutions, hope and action. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, create and publish social media content for Good&Proper clients and Good&Proper owned channels Liaise with Good&Proper stakeholders on concepts, creative and strategy Create, write and execute content via creative tools (such as Figma, Canva) Publish and produce content directly to relevant social platforms Source photography, design and editorial as required to facilitate social content Brief/work with freelancers (eg. designers, illustrators, editors) to facilitate the creation of work Provide quarterly reports on channel/platform performance Assist with concept/creative thinking for relevant campaigns and launches Write and edit copy (long-form and short-form) as required Community management SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Min. 3+ years experience in social media management and content creation with a proven track record of audience building and increasing engagement (we will ask for examples). Strong knowledge of and passion for climate and sustainability issues. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Later, Meta Business Suite). Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, native platform insights). Ability to think creatively and strategically to craft compelling campaigns. Knowledge of SEO, paid social advertising, and influencer marketing strategies. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
