From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too. As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community. An elderly man living at home in Randwick would enjoy the company of a volunteer. His interests include good conversation (both English and Greek speaking), coffee, and pottering in the garden. He would love to meet someone to join him in a short stroll with his 4-wheel frame. Your Impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
