The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in North Sydney. We are seeking a friendly volunteer to come and spend time with an elderly client living at home in Ryde. He enjoys all things Golf including playing and chatting about the game, his background is English and he would like a weekly/fortnightly visitor to come and chat about English History over a cuppa. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
