About the role With a diverse collective of peers and skillsets, the Perth office has a great mix of z/OS experts, UI/UX engineers, QA analysts, as well as automation and translation specialists. We are looking to bring on board additional mainframe development experts to assist with product development. 21CS is seeking a skilled z/OS software developer who can work as part of a team using modern development methods that stress collaboration, transparency, focus on customer value, and constant improvement. This role collaborates in design and code functionality for enterprise-level products that meet business and customer requirements. The Software Developer will perform code modification, analysis, testing, and debugging tasks as well as provide input related to product futures. Strong z/OS skills and a passion for learning are necessary to accomplish company and personal goals. Required Skills Senior experience in Mainframe (z/OS) development. A comprehensive understanding of ISPF, JCL, and IBM utilities. Either Assembler or C++ on z/OS. Candidate should be self-organized, have a strong sense of analysis & troubleshooting skills, and ability to take the lead in problem solving and delivery of development items. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desired Skills Systems Programming experience. Experience in Storage management and DFSMS access methods. Disaster Recovery, GDPS.
