Job Description

Looking for strong software engineers who can fix security vulnerabilities—not just find them! Join a newly formed Vulnerability Management practice in a large-scale consumer banking environment . This is a hands-on coding role , where you'll be responsible for fixing vulnerabilities, automating security processes, and future-proofing application security . Location: Gold Coast – Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office (must be within 1.5 hours' travel). Salary: Up to $150K for Engineer / $180K for Senior Engineer . Huge scope —securing 100+ applications with 18,000 vulnerabilities in the backlog. No security background required —we need strong developers with an interest in secure coding. Hands-on coding —fix vulnerabilities in Java, C#, Node.js, or React . Automation focus —build scalable security solutions. Collaborate with system teams —solve real security issues uncovered in reviews. What You’ll Do: Fix security vulnerabilities and strengthen application security. Automate security processes for efficient vulnerability remediation. Work closely with development, operations, and customer support teams . Help establish secure coding best practices across the business. Minimum Requirements: 2–5 years’ experience in software engineering. Proficiency in Java, C#, Node.js, or React . Understanding of vulnerabilities, secure coding, and automation is a plus but not required. Experience with security tools like Snyk, Tenable, or Fortify (a plus!).
