Software Quality Engineer page is loaded Software Quality Engineer Location : Sydney, AustraliaEmployment Type : Full-time The Job (Summary) Join a friendly, fast-paced Product & Engineering team at RIB CX, where you’ll ensure the quality of software used by the construction industry worldwide. You’ll collaborate with developers and product managers in an agile environment, using Jira and DevOps for task and test management. Expect plenty of variety—whether you’re testing brand-new features, enhancing existing tools or working towards new process initiatives —plus a supportive culture that values professional growth and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain manual test plans and scenarios Collaborate closely with developers and product managers in Agile sprints Document and track software defects, ensuring swift resolutions Perform regression and smoke testing prior to production releases Propose improvements in QA processes to enhance software quality Support agile processes with continuous integration and delivery in DevOps. Essential Requirements 3+ years’ experience in software quality assurance or a similar role. Proficiency in Jira (task management) and DevOps (test case management). Working knowledge of agile software development processes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate defect tracking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills and Competencies Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Cypress or similar test automation frameworks Impact: Ability to prioritise test coverage areas that deliver the greatest value Aspiration: Motivated to learn new QA tools, including automation solutions Curiosity: Eagerness to investigate root causes and continually refine testing strategies Trust: Able to build rapport with cross-functional teams and reliably deliver on commitments RIB may require all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
